Mark got his B.S. in Chemistry at Appalachian State University in 2015. He joined the lab in Fall of 2015 and his research is focused on stereochemical effects of biomass-based feedstocks on the properties of sustainable plastics. Mark grew up in a military family and has lived all over enjoying mountains, beaches, cities, nature, bitter cold, and scorching heat.
